Volunteering at AFAC

AFAC depends on the help of hundreds of volunteers. Volunteers help in the warehouse and in the office. They pick-up food, plan events, glean and clean.

We have volunteer opportunities listed by availability - weekday, evening, and weekend. Our most immediate volunteer needs are listed here.

We have other opportunities like gleaning, cleaning, plant-a-row for the hungry and event planning.

Food Drives are a great group or individual volunteer activity that can be done on your own schedule, from work or home.

We ask all volunteers to complete a Volunteer Profile Sheet. You can fax it to us (703) 845-8491, email it to us, or bring it the first time you volunteer. Click here to download a form.
